Our Canadian Guest Chefs Program is officially underway! Every February at the School, prestigious Chefs from around the province, and from our own backyard, are invited to bring their cuisine to Stratford Chefs School.
This unique Program is a valuable feature of Stratford Chefs School's professional cookery curriculum. Guest Chefs are experts working in the hospitality industry who come from varied cultural and culinary backgrounds to lead Student Chef Dinner Labs. They share real-world experience and offer once-in-a lifetime mentorship opportunities while working alongside our Level 2 students, to prepare and serve exceptional, multi-course dinner menus for the public.

We're thrilled to launch the Series on Tuesday, February 4 with Chef Jonathan Gushue, chef-proprietor of The Gate, in Flesherton, Ontario. For more than three decades, Chef Gushue has been satisfying palates with a natural culinary style and inventiveness that balances both tradition, locality, and imagination. Most recently he founded The Gate with front-of-house veteran Jennifer Belanger, a restaurant that features modern European cuisine in the heart of the beautiful Grey County Highlands.

Calling all Hospitality Employers and Job Seekers!
Stratford Chefs School's annual Hospitality Job Fair returns on Monday, February 3, 2025. This event will be held from 2pm to 3pm in the Chefs School's Dining Room at 136 Ontario Street, Stratford ON.
The student job seekers attending will be a mix of graduating students looking for their next steps, and current students looking for positions for their internship period in the summer between their Level 1 and Level 2 studies. School Alumni and hospitality job-seekers in the community are also welcome to attend!
