The annual parade reaches the Stratford cenotaph, already adorned with wreaths in honor of those who served. This cenotaph, designed by renowned sculptor Walter S. Allward, is especially notable for being the same artist behind the iconic Vimy War Memorial in France.

Stratford Businesses Embrace Early Trick-or-Treating
Stratford's little ghouls and goblins got an early Halloween treat this year, thanks to the Downtown Stratford BIA's inaugural Trick-or-Treat event on October 26th.
The sunny afternoon saw families strolling through downtown Stratford, collecting candy and other goodies from participating businesses. The BIA, in partnership with CJCS radio, added to the fun by distributing candy at the Destination Stratford office.
The beloved Skeletons of Vivian Line display is back for its 11th year, bringing a festive spirit to Stratford this October. Join us in celebrating this fan-favorite attraction that continues to delight the community year after year.

Stratford House of Blessing Grateful for Community Support

Stratford Times – Honoring Truth and Reconciliation
On Canada's National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Patsy-Anne Day and Matthew Maynard kept the sacred fire burning at the Falstaff Family Centre. Day offered valuable education to community groups and students, fostering understanding and respect.
Together, we remember and honour our past while looking towards a brighter future.
The Schafer family from Shakespeare, along with supporters from across Ontario and British Columbia, united to walk for Kathy—wife, mother, and grandmother—at the annual Parkinson's walk in Stratford. Their heartfelt efforts helped raise over $80,000 for the cause!
