Blessed to attend the Annual Community Recognition Awards Night where Council recognizes teams and individuals who have won a provincial or national competition, or who have excelled in their sport.

So inspired to connect with and celebrate all the coaches, coaching staff, volunteers, families and friends who make all these sports and community building activities possible.

Events like this where we can gather as a council with pride for our city and connect organizations and the people in celebration of accomplishments is an extreme honour for me.

Congratulations to all involved! Community Pride and Progress!

JUST getting down to unpacking our wonderful experience at the Multicultural Festival in warm Listowel last week!

So many great connections made as we celebrated multiculturalism with such a vibrant and diverse community!

Thank you to all who attended, our volunteers and all of those in our vast region who support our movement. Make sure to tag people and share for all to see so that we can help all year and hold this again next summer.

Our group has met so many different Councillors and City Mayors that we can't help learn from them and add our perspective to the conversation. We are all fighting hard for the evolution and improvement of our communities and these ties will make the province stronger.
Special moments and memories for Myles Murdock, Mayor of Goderich who recently passed away. So much thanks for what he did for Goderich and his eternal support of the Multicultural Association Perth Huron.

A little slow to return messages the next couple days as we are in London for the Association of Municipalities Ontario!

So happy to be representing the City of Stratford on the provincial stage again and share knowledge with all of the leaders present!

So much to digest and bring home for our community.

UKRAINIAN WEEK IS A GO!

All this week Aug 15-20th, we are celebrating Ukrainian Week with our friends at Full House Bar & Grill. Traditional cuisine, drinks and music available all week with donated proceeds going to support our Ukrainian community members. Tax receipts for donations to the MAPH and good times to be had every night.

Bonus thanks to Mayor Martin Ritsma and owner Slavi for helping us celebrate and raise funds.
