About Us

“An escape room is a physical adventure game in which players solve a series of puzzles using clues, hints and strategy to complete the objectives at hand. Players are given a set time limit to unveil the secret plot which is hidden within the rooms.”

Escape From Reality, or EFR for short, is a small, family run escape room business in Stratford, ON. We opened in 2016 with just a couple rooms to offer. We have since expanded, with up to 5 rooms running at a time. In 2019 EFR was sold to the current owner who runs the business mainly by herself. We write all of our own rooms, and build them from scratch. We absolutely love meeting everyone who comes through the doors, and learning more and more about how you solve puzzles! 
In 2021 we started selling board games, card games etc. We can special order a variety of things you wouldn’t find anywhere else. Come check us out!
