About Us

My name is Denise Nonomura and I am an award winning Stratford fine artist who works in pastel, graphite and charcoal.
My pastel works capture the colour and light of the water and land, as well as still life, floral and pet portraiture. I also enjoy working in graphite and charcoal and do commissioned portraiture in this medium. My work is held in collections in Canada, USA and Ireland. I am a juried active member of the Federation of Canadian Artists, a signature member of Pastel Artists of Canada and a member of the Society of Canadian Artists. 

I currently have a variety of sizes of original pastel paintings available for purchase and would love to share my work with you.

For the Christmas season I have once again created tiny original pastel paintings ranging in size from 2”x 2” to 2” x 3”. Each is framed and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. They can be hung on a Christmas tree, or placed on a little optional easel for an artistic addition to a shelf, side table or desk. These tiny paintings have been enjoyed by many patrons over the last few Christmas seasons and at $25. are the perfect little gift! Please contact me for details. Free pick up or local delivery.
