The Stratford Perth Humane Society is self-funded and self- governed. Outside of contracts for animal control services, we receive no government funding. We rely on the generosity of our donors to help animals within our communities and to provide animal welfare focused community education and outreach.

In 2016 we moved from a small facility to a beautiful new shelter on Griffith Road in Stratford. Our new facility has both communal cat rooms and condos, single and double dog runs with heated floors, a spacious animal kitchen, an in-house clinic and spay-neuter reception area, and a fantastic education room for community programming, birthday parties, yoga and more!
